| Samuel Newhall Crane was a Cavalry Officer in the 1st Colorado Regiment. He was a Sergeant at the Battle of Glorieta and was commissioned when the regiment converted to cavalry. He is an ancestor of mine buried in Berkley, Massachusetts. I submitted his civil war records to the United States Cavalry Museum at Fort Riley, Kansas. |
